21st century wars

The wars of the 21st century as are virtual as they are real. The current conflicts in the middle-east have destroyed ancient cities and overnight created a huge community of displaced people. The influx of these refugees into developed nations along with those fleeing from failed states such as Eritrea, Somalia and Afghanistan has created a large pool of displaced people, refugees: political, economic and social, fleeing war, poverty and religious persecution creating a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions.

In most post-conflict cities the conflict leaves millions homeless and causes large scale destruction and creates an environment of polarization, desperation and tension. Reconstruction and rehabilitation are key to creating a safe and nurturing environment for people to start rebuilding their lives and come together as a community which will minimize the future effects of the conflict on the victims of this tragic circumstance.
